They say a picture is worth a thousand words. We disagree.

A photo is a snapshot in time of a moment otherwise gone forever, except in the fading memories of those who were there.

A good photo or video can be a priceless reminder of some of the best times of your life.

That's why on Boocas anyone can add photos/videos to any Event, to share their favourite moments with all of us.

However by the same token, the very best photos/videos deserve to be highlighted so they're easier to find.

There will be two levels of photographers above the standard Boocas membership - Silvereyes and Goldeneyes:

Being a Silvereye or Goldeneye doesn't mean you 'have' to take photos or go somewhere if you don't want to. It's not a job, it's a status. Carry on as you are but any photos/videos you take are given special treatment (see below)


SILVEREYE
  • Your photos automatically placed above those taken by standard members


  • Galleries for Silvereye photos. Boocas members vote for their favourite, with monthly prizes for the best


  • Boocas cards (if you want) to support your photo taking in public venues


GOLDENEYE (Only Silvereyes can be promoted to Goldeneye status)
Not only do you have a good eye for capturing the moment, you enjoy getting out and meeting new people.

You get a buzz out of knowing that what you do can have a significant impact on the success of a night and the enjoyment of everyone who is there.

Most people can mix two tracks once you show them how. Not everyone has the flair or the drive to be a good DJ.

Most people can take a decent photo once you show them how. Not everyone has the flair or the drive to be a top photographer. Is this you? You won't know til you try :-)

Boocas will help you get the most out of something you love to do.
  • Your photos automatically placed above those of Silvereye or standard members


  • The freedom to use your photos however you want, supported by Boocas technology and resources
    (copyrighting, watermarking, payment management), whether it's
    • selling keyrings, t-shirts or even lighters with photos on
    • promoting your friends DJ'ing
    • or even your own website.
    You keep any income your activity may generate


  • Income from your photos sold on the site


  • Official ID cards


  • If you request it, numbered Boocas cards (to help you sell individual photos / keyrings etc)


  • If you request it, mentoring from our senior Goldeneyes, including on camera and Photoshop technique


  • Support from Boocas contacts to access some of the best club nights in the country (and a certain Spanish Isle)


  • You choose when you 'work' and how long for - all we ask is that you enjoy yourself whilst maintaining the standards expected of our top brand ambassadors
